Prestige is dedicated and committed to working with regulatory and legislative agencies on issues pertaining to the industry. It is our policy to exceed all Environmental Protection Agency and OSHA requirements at all of our locations. Consequently, Prestige has invested tens of thousands of dollars for environmentally safe drycleaning equipment and practices. We have opened or converted all of our cleaning locations to hydrocarbon technology (DF 2000 solvent). For this achievement, we received an “Environmental Technology” award from the State in November 1999. We were also recognized for our Hanger Recycling Program.
CleanCare System

Hanger Recycling Program
Cleaning out your closet? Don’t throw away hangers from Prestige Cleaners. Instead, during your next visit ask one of our staff members to give you a “free” hanger caddie. When full, return it and receive $1 off your next order.
Of the hangers returned, we are able to put 60% in service, 20% are available to any person or organization that wants them, and the remaining 20% are deemed unusable. This program alleviates hundreds and thousands of hangers from our customers’ trashcans and our landfills.
Competitors' hangers and hangers with slight defects are given to charities for their use or for recycling.
